Design of a high-voltage electrostatic ultrasonic atomization nozzle and its droplet adhesion effects on aeroponically cultivated plant roots

In the process of aeroponics cultivation, atomizer is one most important influencing factors on cultivation process. This paper presented design an ultrasonic atomization nozzle using contact charging and a root droplet adhesion test rig. The purpose this study was to reveal relationship between main operating parameters high-voltage electrostatic effect measurements. study, achieved by Laval tube, key for were inlet pressure, voltage core electrode material spray distance; size variation patterns obtained through experiments. best analyzed orthogonal method, deposition distribution system at different scales investigated in chamber. results revealed that when coppe working 0.4 MPa 1.75 m distance, 12 kV voltage, has highest adhesion.
